In this difficult period, in particular for the event sector, Chabé had the honour to provide its expertise in aid of a major sport event during the fortnight that was exceptionally held in the fall.
The event was originally planned for last spring as the end of containment, the organizer decided to postpone the date of the competition in order to maintain the event in good conditions. Always open to the public, the health and safety requirements had to be reinforced, which led to modifications in the organization and, of course, in the transportation.
Chabé had already put in place reinforced hygiene measures within its vehicles and among its chauffeurs and passengers (more information about hygiene measures placed by Chabé). We have gone further to respond to the organizer’s needs. Our teams have redoubled their creativity and precision to adapt to the context day after day: set-up of personalized sanitary kits, adjustment of the fleet to limit the number of passengers transported at the same time, Plexiglas partitions in each vehicle, COVID-19 test for all chauffeurs and coordinators.
A few figures:
8 months of organization in order to prepare an exceptional event
…27 days of operation
…360 chauffeurs, with a peak of up to 245 activated per day
…185 event partner vehicles
…4,300 shifts chauffeurs
…more than 20,000 transfers
…a dedicated team of 80 people
…approximately 1,500 PCR test results
So, despite a difficult and uncertain context as well as rainy weather, Chabé has be able to took up the challenge, offering a bespoke journeys experience equal to the prestige of the event.
